“Before starting the Data Analyst apprenticeship, I didn’t have formal training in predictive analytics or machine learning. In my role as a Business Manager, access and analysis of data is crucial, and the apprenticeship has provided me with the foundation to apply these skills to our FX Business. I’m excited to use predictive analytics, such as forecasting and machine learning, to leverage our historical data, manage costs, and support decision-making, ultimately driving revenue growth.

One of the most rewarding experiences was working on a project where I needed to consolidate daily trade block reports, extract key data, and generate management information to report to the FX Corporate Sales Regional & Country Heads. The goal was to resolve underlying issues and enable our clients to resume trading. The final outcome, which was re-enabling clients to execute their FX trades, was incredibly fulfilling to see.
