The apprenticeship has really complimented my role as a Systems Administrator, especially when thinking about data-led projects and data lifecycles.

I have put my newly revitalised Excel skills to the test for a major cleaning data exercise which consisted of approximately 40,000 rows! We were finally able to validate a list of assets and migrate these records to a structured database as part of a bigger metadata programme. The course has catapulted me forward into a world that is increasingly valuing experience in the workplace over traditional learning routes such as university.

The programme is highly organised, the content is thorough and the tutors are extremely knowledgeable. The combination of all these elements have geared me towards fostering an environment where I can focus on getting on with the work with confidence.

To anyone considering enrolling on an apprenticeship programme, remember that the best investment is in yourself! Be prepared to put in the hours but know that every effort into working on a programme like this is to promote your growth and future proof your career.
