About the Programme

For learners who are responsible for producing analyses, insight and advanced reports for others. This programme is suitable for those who need to perform analysis of data as part of their day to day role. Our comprehensive curriculum covers essential skills such as Python, SQL, data cleansing and predictive analysis, as well as cutting-edge analytics techniques including machine learning.

Programme Topics

Gain hands-on experience in using Python libraries and tools to extract, clean, and transform data for analysis. Manipulate and organise data efficiently, ensuring it’s ready for in-depth analysis. Explore the art of creating informative charts, graphs, and visual representations of data, enabling you to communicate your findings effectively.

Identify meaningful questions, formulate hypotheses, and select the appropriate data analysis methods to derive valuable insights. Exploring statistical concepts such as descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing. Craft compelling narratives around data, using visualisations and storytelling techniques.

Explore data architecture principles, database design, and data modelling. Learn how to structure data for optimal performance, security, and scalability. Dive into SQL to extract, manipulate, and manage data efficiently. Develop essential skills in writing queries, creating and managing databases, and ensuring data integrity.

Analyse and model time series data, uncovering patterns, trends, and seasonality. Gain insights into forecasting and predictive analytics techniques for time-based datasets. Dive into the fundamentals of machine learning, exploring techniques for classification, regression, clustering, and more.

Funding Eligibility

– Ability to interpret data trends and create reports to support business decisions.
– Living and working in the UK or EEA for at least three years.*
– You have the right to work in the UK and will spend at least 50% of your working time in England throughout the duration of the programme.
– Working 30+ hours per week (part-time roles may qualify with sufficient cohort size).
– Able to allocate at least 6 hours per week for off-the-job learning throughout the 15-month programme.
– Must not be currently pursuing any other government-funded schemes including student loan funded programmes.
