“My 10-month journey so far through the Citi Data Analytics Academy: Data Champion apprenticeship has been a really rewarding and impactful experience. I was keen to enrol, recognising my role demanded stronger Excel skills and a deeper understanding of data optimisation to deliver maximum value to our stakeholders. Hearing about the positive experiences of my colleagues also inspired me to take this significant step.

The programme has been incredibly valuable, fundamentally enhancing my capabilities. I believe I gained a solid grasp of data preparation using powerful tools like PowerQuery, sharpened my skills in dynamic data visualisation and compelling storytelling, and have discovered exciting new ways to visualise data, including exploring dashboard creation in Excel and PowerBI. This has certainly broadened my entire perspective on data.

As I continue with this program, I feel a renewed confidence in my ability to strategically optimise data, drive better outcomes, and readily address any data-related challenge in my role.
